FASHION| FASHION BLOGGERS TEA PARTY

Hey all, thought it was time to post another fashion related post on the blog. Can I just say a massive thank you to all of you being so kind about my previous post.It was super hard to write and I am glad, I finally came out and expressed my feelings.  On a more positive note, I have been a very busy lady as per usual. At the end of February, I was invited to the Fashion Bloggers tea party  event held by the lovely Lubka Christova of the blog - Blagarka.

Lubka invited us to an exclusive event, whereby 4 bloggers (Bec, Charlotte, Sam and me) would get the opportunity to be styled by exclusive brands, meet the designers behind the brands, but most importantly  we would  get our photos taken by a professional photographer. So off I trotted to Hackney Wick, to the very cool Number 90 bar for the event. I have to admit, I was kinda nervous to meet everyone, which is strange as I am a bubbly chick! But everyone was super lovely.

I was so inspired by the designers who came along. Mae from ChopShopLdn and Moji from Mojiana inspired me with their stories of how they got into the industry. They wowed me with their tenacity, creative thought processes behind their designs.. which gave me a greater appreciation for the pieces I would rock in my shoot. We were also supplied with outfits from American Eagle, which was a surprise to everyone.

I AM WEARING:
Jacket by American Eagle Outfitters
Top by Chop Shop London
Trousers by Chop Shop London
Necklace from Mojiana
Bracelet from Mojiana
Heels from Macys

I was given a sports luxe look, which admittedly is super different to what I usually wear. But you know what, I liked the simplicity and elegance of the outfit. I especially like the punch, my American Eagle jacket added to my outfit. Mojiana jewellery added the elegance, and ChopshopLdn slouchy joggers and vest top gave me a hip hop edge! I loved my outfit and the whole day. Thanks Lubka, I had a great time!

  5. Your fashion bloggers tea-party looks like fun. I like the print of the trousers you were wearing during tea time. I love the colour and style of your American Eagle Outfitters jacket and your Mojiana bracelet. It sounds like it was fascinating to hear first hand the stories of how Mae and Moji entered the design industry and their thoughts.
