#CARNIVALFIESTA WITH THOMAS COOK AIRLINES

Ladies and gentleman, if you know me well you know I love a good party. Nothing sets my heart a blaze than some good tunes, food and peeps. Luckily, last month I got all of that when I was invited to the #carnvalfiesta event with Thomas Cook  Airlines. The event was held  in one of my favourite haunts Barrio East in Shoreditch. I could go into why I love this place so much or the "adventures" I have had there; but let's leave that to another time shall we ;). The purpose of the event was to showcase all things carnival, in the lovely Tenerife, and also let us know about the wonderful country and it's colourful culture.

Let me tell you, I definitely got to know Tenerife VERY well during the evening. That's because we were treated to an abundance of activities through out the night. When we entered the venue, we were greeted with cocktails and  our ears were tantalized with the electric samba tunes of carnival. We  were treated to the performance by Leny and Romero, who were absolutely sick! Whilst we were amazed by their fancy footwork, I was pulled up to dance with Romero! A challenge I so happily took on, where I showed the Samba king, the moves of an Afrobeat queen.

After such an amazing introduction, we were separated into 5 sections, which included carnival makeover, samba dancing, head piece making, cocktail masterclass and speaking to the  team about Thomas Cook airlines. What I really liked about the event, was the ability to mingle with my blogger peeps. In addition, I got to learn new skills! I learnt to Samba, which was my favourite activity! Trust me, I am out on Saturday, and I want to wow everyone with my new moves. Like I want the crowd to be like Julia Styles in Save the last Dace wowed! Also cocktail making was another one of my favourites, let me tell you that me and the bar man were really great friends after that activity! Let's just say I am an overachiever and made banging cocktails, that would make your tastebuds explode with awesomeness. In all seriousness, I really loved getting to know about the culture of Tenerife in such an innovative and interactive way! .

The #carnival fiesta was one of my favourite events this year, and I really hope that I can go and experience it in February 2016. It's hard to explain why in words only, so I included these nifty pictures to explain my love for  Carnival!
