It has only been a few days but Christmas already seems to be a distant memory. Now, the hot topic on everybody's lips is New Years Eve, where to go and especially what to where. I have partnered with Most Wanted, the lifestyle magazine from the UK's #1 voucher site for a special campaign "forget the dress" which is about re-styling those long forgotten party dresses you bought once and never wore again. A lot of us are guilty of this. Did you know that 18-24 year old women, are spending an average of £119 on party outfits! Mental isn't it. I know being a graduate and looking for a job, I definitely cannot be splurging on outfits, this campaign came at the right time.

For the campaign I had to re-style  a dress  that I already owned and style it up three ways. I was given a budget of £50  to enable me to scour the high street for accessories that would help me be the belle of the ball come 31st December.

The dress I choose to was this pink strappy dress from ASOS. At the time, I spent £40 on it   when I first bought it and wore it for my work Christmas party at the Hilton in 2011. However, since then it hasn't come out. I chose the accessories shown above and the total came to £47.48. It was tricky trying to find accessories to style this dress up, but I definately think I have re-vamped this old beauty.. and I will be considering one of these dresses for new years eve. Which one is your favourite? Are you going to save this year, or splurge on a new outfit.

  1. I really love both looks actually, the belt is so cute but that fur collar adds a lot more old school glamour
