Hope you all had a sick Christmas and ate lots and lots! It's so weird to think we wait a whole year waiting and planning for one day, and then BAM! It comes and goes by in a flash. Well if you thought the holiday season was over, then don't fret as we still have one more party to attend before the year is out, that's right New Years EVE!
I always worry about what I am going to wear for the party of the year, especially the shoes I am going to choose. So this year I decided to work backwards and choose my shoes first and work out my outfit later, seems like a good idea right? I hope so. Anywho on my quest for the perfect shoes, I stumbled across shoes from Clarks. I was quite shocked at the gems they had in store; as my general idea of Clarks is the place where your Mum would take you to get the quality shoes, for School. However, the brand has swiftly upped their game by cleverly marrying quality with style.
I couldn't decided on 1 pair of shoes so I choose 5...ooops, this is going to be a toughie! My first choice was the violet boots. The vibrant colour attracted me instantly, I am a sucker for all shades of purple and boots. I defiantly think that these would be a conversation starter.
My second choice were the leopard boots. I really like the banana shaped heel, as it is unusual and very attractive. I feel that the shape and thickness of the heel would be very sturdy,so I could survive all night in these babies. I choose them mostly because they are leopard print, but they are a toned own print, which means that they would be versatile for everyday wear.
The Gold heels are a classic shape, but I love the gold detailing as it is just so shimmery... I am convinced I was a magpie in my past life. What I love most about this shoe is the exposed zipper on the heel, which adds a beautiful touch.
The Classic black heel is a must for a night out. This is a dupe of the gold heels, and it would be a safe and classy option, making my outfit selection very easy. I love the suede material and exposed zipper, it also looks really comfy too.
Finally, the Jewelled sandals are my wild card selection. It is not my usual type, but I was attracted because of the detail and the shoes reminded me of miu miu 2010 collection.
Hmm... I still can't decide so I made possible outfits for all of the shoes to make my decision easier.
