So it's a typical Saturday afternoon, your out shopping with your mates and you browse the usually shops. You look around, nothing shines out at you. Your about to leave and BAM! you see it; It is the most perfect piece of clothing you have ever seen and you have to have it. You swiftly grab it ,look at price tag but realise you can't afford it. Disappointed you quickly leave the shop....
I think at some point or another we have all had this experience. Don't you just hate it when this happens, I know I do. You find that key piece but it's too expensive and you are not willing to pay the price tag (the perils of being a student). Well never fear I have solutions to your shopping woes. Remember guys their is nearly always cheaper alternatives out there.
SEARCH IT! The internet is your friend, there are plenty of fashion sites (especially ebay) which may have your coveted item for less. Remember this top from The Lust List:001. I first saw it on New Look for £22.99 after alot of searching I was able to find the same top for £16 at Desire clothing. I originally saw these boots at River Island for £44.99. The price didn't sit right with me so I found them at chocker shoes for £25!
MAKE IT! want that slouchy jumper from Topshop but can't bear to part with £50, why don't you make your own version which would be unique and most importantly cheaper! Gok has many tutorials for clothes. If you prefer videos then Youtube is a mecca for video tutorials, check outSammi's tutorial on slouchy jumpers below.
Hope you guys found this useful!
