HOW DO BRANDS AND AGENCIES FIND CONTENT CREATORS?
I have an advantage of being a content creator, but also working in freelance influencer marketing. The benefit? I know exactly what brands and agencies are looking for when searching for content creators, which helps me. But, as sharing is caring, I am here to also help you, too. As I am all about assisting my fellow content creators.
So here is the tea, and it is relatively piping hot:
Most agencies I have worked at use a mixed approach; we either use tools such as (Tagger, Traackr, Klear, etc.) to find content creators. Or the more manual approach, which is just going on (TikTok/Instagram) and putting forward creators who are relevant but we follow or are easily searchable on the platform.
So what does that mean for content creators?
Please optimize your profile as much as you can!
🌟 Add your location
🌟 Say what you create in your bio/username
🌟 Use relevant keywords/hashtags
🌟 Tag brands
🌟 Pop your email in your bio
Honestly, continue to post consistently and post what you love! Remember to review which of your content is doing well and tweak your content as you go. You'll definitely be on someone's radar and find yourself on a campaign.
