Often, details are overlooked. The small features, the ingredients to
life, that extra component that makes something insignificant, significant can
be disregarded due to its inability to be boisterous. However, sometimes those
small, intricate details are the ones that make things shine, make things
interesting. This is definitely what the Vivienne Westwood Orb II watch does! With its pink strap design and iconic orb
design in the face of the watch, this wrist piece has added a touch of elegance
to my outfits.
From afar, the straps seem simple but if you look closely the boast a
simple star/diamond embossed detail to add interest to the piece. Now pink
isn't every girls colour, I get that. For me, I see myself as an edgy girl with
a splash of elegance, so you would think pink wouldn't be my thing. However,
the colour, the orb pendant which delicately hangs on the face of the
watch does nothing to remove the edge from me. What it does is go against the
status quo of a typical ladies watch, which is what I love about it. Looking
at it, it is definitely what you expect from a Vivienne Westwood piece.
My personal style has simplified over the last 2 years. Moving
away from statement pieces through out my outfit, I champion one piece and a few
simple gold midi rings. I am happy to say that this has been my staple piece,
which I have paired with simple skinnies, crop tops and my new love the velvet
choker. Literally this watch is so versatile, that I have found that it goes
with every outfit and doesn’t look out of place!
I’ll definitely do outfit photos of this watch, so you can see how I style it. But for now, I wanted to
