FASHION| IT IS ALL ABOUT THE KHAKI BOMBER JACKET

Bomber jackets have been everywhere. They've been filling my Twitter and Instagram feeds, and I love it! I love it so much, that it took me a while to "research" and find the perfect one on Ebay; and ladies and gentlemen (if you are out there,strangely preeing my blog), I am glad I found it. I am in deep, deep love. Now styling this was a challenge, as it is quite boxy, and I am quite curvy. However, I think I did quite well finding an outfit that would flatter my shape.

Taking inspiration from the bomber jacket, I decided to keep to the khaki/green theme, and paired this with my split top from Bershka and cream trousers. Finished off with my New Look, chunky suede black boots. I have to say I felt kinda fierce, even though I was mostly covered up. Strange I know, but there is something about a bomber jacket that just makes you feel edgy and cool, ya know? The chunky boots added height, and made me feel extra confident. I was taking long and sexy strides, ya'll and I felt unashamed to showcase my inner woman.

Power in feeling confident, makes me feel invincible, and I love that. It's amazing what a few pieces of material, stitched together can make you feel. I mean, let's really examine it. I put on these pieces, that I loved, that I felt represented HOW I wanted to feel. These weren't magical or extraordinary in any way. but truth be told, I felt like the shiznit the day I shot this outfit.

I am pretty lucky to be an uber confident person, so I don't rely on clothing, make up or people to make me feel a certain typa way. These things are add ons, elements to enhance your inner feeling. It is important to surround yourself with positivity, and let your inner self shine without these things. How about you, what clothing makes you feel confident?
