I AM WEARING:
DRESS-PRIMARK
NECKLACE-RIVER ISLAND
So last week, me and one of my besties Hannah headed to Covent Garden's Ice tank to view the new AW14 collection, from Kaleidoscope. Now I was familiar with the brand, but this was one of the first events I had been too so I was pretty excited! As soon as I walked in, I was transformed in a Autumn wonderland! I was very impressed with the collection, especially the black leather PU dress and I even got to showcase it as one of my all time faves from the season here.
From the collection it seems that there is going to be a lot of leather this AW14 season, which isn't a surprise. But, we are going to be seeing darks as well as coloured leather. Also there is going to be a lot of detailing in leather pieces, think lazer cut detailing and drapey shapes. I was very happy to see that print is going to be going strong this season, as I am a massive print fan. Statement accessories seem to still be going strong. I am a massive statement fan and had to literally tear myself away from the fab collection!
But what I was most impressed by was the shoes. Now anyone that knows me, knows I love my shoes! I love shoes so much so that I have dubbed my shoe closet the cave, it is kinda like Narnia without the weird creatures. You walk in but always come out happy ;). There was alot of detailing and embellishment in the Kaleidoscope shoes, my faves were the pointed loafers and the cut out shoe boots.
Now I am no interior blogger, but I just had to share Kaleidoscope's home wear range. It was very fresh and reflected some of the pieces in the clothing range. I was especially attracted to the lighting, very interact design which would add interest in a room.
All in all I had a great time. It was lovely meeting some new bloggers, such as Charlotte. Thanks to my bestie Hannah for popping along and thanks to the Kaleidoscope team for inviting me. What was your favourite piece?
Oh wow those red and animal print boots... I want!
