FASHION| I'M ALL ABOUT BEING COLOURFUL

OOTD (that's outfit of the day's) to you non blogger folk, have taken a bit of a backseat on LWIG, as I progress on my journey of being REAL, on my little corner of the internet. 5 years of being a blogger and sometimes you get tired of following the status quo. You know what I mean? You get tired of talking about all the fluffy stuff, and get drawn to the more rawer subjects, things that make you go hmmm. I apologize for the link, I was listening to that song and it seemed  right to add it in, cause of context and all that. So as I am an Instagram addict, I have been teasing you with this outfit for the last couple of months. I was meaning to write this OOTD post, well for months now. I was unsure whether to post it or nah? Obviously I chose to, and I am glad as I really had fun shooting this with my girl Anoushka.

 Taking in the summer vibes and relishing in the beautiful architecture of the privileged, in Central London, I took to shooting this outfit. Every summer, this kimono comes out as summer makes me feel whimsical, free and damn right colourful. Am I alone in feeling this? I guess this outfit with the colours optimizes what how I was feeling at the time. I totally felt free, you know? It had been a couple of months since I took a risk and left my job and I was working on the strategy for FBL Bloggers, as well as just healing spiritually and mentally after being unhappy in the previous months.

I've always said that the reason I connect with fashion so much, is because it is a way I can showcase who I am without saying a word, Truly, I believe this and with this outfit. I felt that everything was going to be ok, be fun and colourful with opportunities and great experiences. So here is to 2016, and taking everything in my stride.
