FASHION| GIRL MEETS GRUNGE FEATURING PRIMARK, SELECT FASHION AND EBAY

Recently, I have been asked the same type of questions, such as how do you define yourself?, Who are you? What make you special? At first glance, these questions seem simple; but they are pretty loaded in themselves. Lately,  I have had a lot of changes in my life (explained more here) and these particular questions used to freak me out. The truth of the matter is, I don't really know who I am yet, or how I define myself. Now at the ripe age of 24 and half, it's ok to not know all of the answers. I have actually embraced making mistakes and learning from things. Experimenting has given me  a buzz over the last year and a half, and I have really enjoyed experimenting with my fashion in particular!
PRIMARK SUNGLASSES
I think I have said it over again, that I have no particular style. I always mix feminine with edgy, but I like to play with different trends, styles and textures. With this look, I definitely went more edgy with the neutral colours, and my staple trilby hat.

H&M GOLD MIDI RINGS
Florals, just had to be in this outfit somewhere and I chose my trusty necklace from Primark, to add that extra feminine touch to the outfit. As you all know, I love gold  rings, so I had so much fun playing with these rings from H&M. Trouble is, I always loose them and have to buy replacements!
COBALT BLUE HEELS FROM H&M

My colour choice for this outfit was pretty safe. I stuck to neutral tones, but as per usual added the pop of colour with the blue cobalt heels from H&M again. These heels are so easy to walk in and they affordable, that I also bought a black pair!

Overall, I am loving playing with my style and exploring who I am! Do you like to experiment to?

FASHION | IT'S A FLORAL THING FEATURING THE MISSGUIDED FLORAL PLAYSUIT

So I have been sharing sneak peeks of these pics that I did with my new photography friend, Victoria in Richmond. Playsuits, florals and jumpsuits seem to be making a statement on the blog, but I am all for it, I mean it is Spring or shall I say summer now!
FLORAL PLAYSUIT FROM MISSGUIDED
The thing about this outfit, is that it made me feel, how I do I say, playful? I guess that is where the playsuit name comes from. This outfit from Missguided, was so comfy and cute, mind you! I don't know it made me have a spring in my step.

It is such a shame, that I ave only worn it once, but let's pray that the the weather in the UK stays good, for the most part these coming months so that I can rock this play suit and other summer outfits? Are you a playsuit fan?

THE LUST LIST 020| FOREVER UNIQUE

It has been a while since I did the lust list, and honestly I can say that I have missed doing them. The lust list used to be a staple on LWIG, when it first launched that I thought it was best to stick to tradition and bring it back. That being said, I decided to focus on Forever Unique, a luxury women's wear brand.
THE LUST LIST: FOREVER UNIQUE

  1. KIRSTY BLUE EMBELLISHED MAXI DRESS WITH CUT-OUT SIDE DETAIL-£275.00
  2. GISELLE SAX BLUE APPLIQUÉ BLUE LACE DRESS- £250.00
  3. LAGOON TURQUOISE BANDAGE OFF THE SHOULDER DRESS-£220.00

My wardrobe consists of mainly dresses. I love skirts, trousers and all the basic wardrobe necessities, but there is something about the versatility of a dress, that always has my heart. That being said, I had an absolute ball, lusting over the dresses from the Forever Unique site. Although there were loads  of dresses that I absolutely loved, my heart and soul were screaming for these top 3, and man are they GORGEOUS!

Okay, so I have always had a love affair with the colour blue. Blue on dark brown skin, makes a good combination don't you think? The thing I like about this colour is that it comes in so many flattering tones and shades, that I am always intrigued by the variety. I never used to like maxi dresses, as I thought they looked unflattering on me. However, after finding this H&M dress, I was converted. The Kirsty embellished maxi cut-out dress, is mixes elegance with a touch of sexiness, and it is next on my maxi-conquest list.

I definitely know I would get a lot of wear out of the Giselle, appliqué blue lace dress. What I really like is the shape and the detailing. When it comes to pairing this dress with accessories, I would have nude heeled sandals just like the model has in the picture. It is important not to over power a dress like this because of the intricate detailing.

The lagoon bandage dress is by far my favourite. I love back detailing on dresses! The colour is very calming, and the shape of the dress is on point. It is taking a lot for me not to grab this dress and add it to my basket!

Have you ever heard of Forever Unique? Do you love dresses as much as me?
