FASHION| THE HIDDEN GARDEN WITH RIVER ISLAND

OUTFIT

I miss Summer! It has only been a month but I miss the hot weather( even tough we had it for a limited time), the sun and just the good vibes. During the summer, I decided to really appreciate nature and take some photos with the wonderful Jade from Pure Vanity Secrets. Jade took the pics from this photoshoot, and that girl is seriously talented! To mirror the bright foliage, I wore my River Island, off the shoulder mini dress with wedged trainers from Ebay. Sadly, you can't get the dress anymore as it was in the sale, but have a hunt around, you can deffo find something similar! To finish the outfit off, I added my Topman hat which has featured on LWIG a lot. What do you think of my outfit, and do you miss summer too?

LIFESTYLE & FASHION| THINGS WORTH INVESTING IN

I knew it would happen eventually. I have got to the stage in my life, whereby I am starting to think about smart investments and I am starting to veer away from frivolous investments. Omg, what has happened to me! Ladies and gentleman (if you are out there) I think I am growing up! Well it is not all bad, I guess. By really thinking about what I am doing with my money, I am now thinking about smarter investments, and not just on boring adult things like mortgages. This new thinking has made me  start thinking about  my wardrobe. Now, don't get me wrong, I will always love a cheeky Primark or Ebay purchase, as I am a bargain hunter. But spending all my money on fast fashion, isn't always going to be the best choice, as it doesn't last long.

I was approached by Joes Blogs and Legal & General, to find out the products bloggers think are worth investing  money in. I had a budget of £45 and a long think, but I came to the conclusion that a good handbag, was good investment for me. So I was kindly gifted with this handbag, from River Island, which was £45. I chose it because as a fashion blogger, I often like to try out the newest trends, but I do not like to spend too much money. As a result, my bags usually don't last long and I waste money buying a  lot of cheaper alternatives. I reckon this bag is a good investment, as it is a neutral colour so I can wear it with loads of outfits, it is sturdy and can be worn across the shoulders or by the handles, and it is a large size.

You may have noticed, that I am in a different location in my pics, that is because I took this picture in Tenerife 2 weeks ago when I was on holiday! It held up well, whilst on holiday and I still wear it regularly to work. What do you think of the bag and what products do you invest in?

LIFESTYLE| THE HINT HUNT

HINT HUNT ESCAPE GAME

HINT HUNT ESCAPE GAME

TEAM EPIC: STEPHAINE|OLIVIA|TOM|AND MYSELF
HINT HUNT ESCAPE GAME

OUTFIT
So if your a 90s kid, then you'll probably remember the show Crystal Maze. You know the one with the eccentric dude who gives you really weird but fun, escape room tasks in return for a Crystal? Well, last week I got to relive my childhood when I was invited to the Hint Hunt. The Hint Hunt was organised by Joe Blogs and Liverpool Victoria (LV). It is basically a fun, live escape room, You have to solve puzzles in order to escape a themed room! Guess what you have 60 minuets to do it in your teams.

Now my team, dubbed team epic by yours truly, were definitely up for the challenge! I don't want to give too much away but we were placed in the Japanese themed room called the Zen room. We realised that the room told a story, and as we racked our brains with the puzzles we slowly managed to piece everything together. We did struggle at the end as we tried to frantically put the final piece together, but we lukily did it with 14 secs to spare! I wish I could tell you and show you  more, but the Hint Hunt prides itself on secrecy... and it wouldn't be fun to ruin the challenge for you guys!

All I am saying is if you want to try an alternative, fun day out in London, then visit the Hint Hunt. You won't regret it! Have you ever done something like this? Would you? Read more about the Hint Hunt

LONDON FASHION WEEK| SUPERDRY FASHION AND BEAUTY LOOK

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:
NECKLACE-PRIMARK
BELT-PRIMARK
TIGHTS-PRIMARK
WEDGE TRAINERS-DEBENHAMS

Being a Londoner and a lover of fashion, you can probably understand my excitement when London fashion week comes around! However, this season, I decided to give LFW a miss due to many reasons. One being that work is hectic, and I can't take time off! Two I just wanted to relax after coming back from holiday!

I may not be going to all the swanky events this year, but that doesn't mean I have totally missed out. I am keeping up with the newest trends on the catwalk, and still incorporating them into my look! The lovely guys over at Superdry sent me a couple of beauty and fashion items, so I could bring LFW to me and put my spin on it. I was given the thunderbolt eyeliner pencil, and the lip paint in Rebel. I decided to go simple and 90s with my make up! This year it is about the bold lip and eyeliner, so the rebel lip paint is a soft, bright red that fit the bill. I used the eyeliner for my bottom lash and smudged it slightlight for an edgy look. I also used it on my top lid to create my signature winged liner!

When it came to my outfit, I wanted something colourful, feminine but also edgy. That is why I went for the brodorie stictch playsuit. To define my shape, I used my trusty panther belt from Primark and used my statement necklace to add definition.  To add the sports luxe feel, I finished the outfit with my wedged trainers from Debenhams.

So I may not have gone to the shows this year, but I definitely feel that I bought Somerset House to me! What do you think of my outfit and make up?
