I absolutely love the co-ords trend! So when FD Avenue asked me to do an outfit review, I jumped at the chance to try out my favourite trend. Now scouring the site, it wasn't hard to find something I didn't like. However, I instantly fell in love with this piece, as it is colourful and beyonce has worn a designer version. So I was sold! The outfit is true to fit and very comfy. I like that the co-ords trend allows me to be versatile, so I do not have to wear the pieces together if I do not want to. I decided to keep my accessories simple, and opted for my nude courts from New Look, that ASOS gifted me a while back. I actually wore this outfit, when I was speaking at the South West Blog Social, but I'll do a separate post on that in a bit. So what do you think? Yay or nay?

On the 15th May, I was invited to the Marks and Spencer AW14 press day. I was excited as M&S are a heritage British brand, and I had already worked with the brand before, so it was great to see what their AW14 collection had in store.
When I entered the venue, I was amazed by the luxe fabrics, tailored shapes, patterns and colours that the Marks and Spencer venue had. Walking round the collections it was very difficult to decide my favourite collections was, but I was drawn to the black and white fur coat. I know I must have this piece as part of my collection next season.
I was pleasantly surprised by the lingerie and make up from the brand! What really caught my eye was the Rosie for Autograph collection. I was particularly drawn to the level of detailing in the pieces, especially in the lingerie sets. I am a bit of a lingerie snob, and little extra details like this ,gets me excited about a piece.
I was quite surprised to see the amount of make up brands that M&S housed. A brand that caught my eye was Purminerals. Purminerals is an Atlanta based brand, which focuses on mineral based products, that improve your skin and last long. I had a little make over with the the brand, and I loved how light it felt. Sadly I didn't take pics of the finished look, but I did take a pic of my outfit.
All in all, I am excited by the collection. What is your favourite piece?

Hey all, as many of you know I love a good skirt and I was lucky enough to be gifted with this skirt from Warehouse. It was difficult to choose a skirt that I like, as Warehouse has so many great skirts on their site.I instantly gravitated to this brightly coloured tribal design. The shape is flattering the pattern is intricate, and the fabric is soft and flowy. I have been literally wearing it non-stop. As there is toned down to complement it. As the skirt is a statement piece, it made sense that the rest of my outfit be toned down. I paired the skirt with my missguided crop top, and nude pink heels from ASOS. Sadly both of these items are now out of stock, but I am pretty sure you can find something similar on-line.
So what do you think? Are you a fan of brightly coloured skirts?

I AM WEARING:
So last week, me and one of my besties Hannah headed to Covent Garden's Ice tank to view the new AW14 collection, from Kaleidoscope. Now I was familiar with the brand, but this was one of the first events I had been too so I was pretty excited! As soon as I walked in, I was transformed in a Autumn wonderland! I was very impressed with the collection, especially the black leather PU dress and I even got to showcase it as one of my all time faves from the season here.
From the collection it seems that there is going to be a lot of leather this AW14 season, which isn't a surprise. But, we are going to be seeing darks as well as coloured leather. Also there is going to be a lot of detailing in leather pieces, think lazer cut detailing and drapey shapes. I was very happy to see that print is going to be going strong this season, as I am a massive print fan. Statement accessories seem to still be going strong. I am a massive statement fan and had to literally tear myself away from the fab collection!
But what I was most impressed by was the shoes. Now anyone that knows me, knows I love my shoes! I love shoes so much so that I have dubbed my shoe closet the cave, it is kinda like Narnia without the weird creatures. You walk in but always come out happy ;). There was alot of detailing and embellishment in the Kaleidoscope shoes, my faves were the pointed loafers and the cut out shoe boots.
Now I am no interior blogger, but I just had to share Kaleidoscope's home wear range. It was very fresh and reflected some of the pieces in the clothing range. I was especially attracted to the lighting, very interact design which would add interest in a room.
All in all I had a great time. It was lovely meeting some new bloggers, such as Charlotte. Thanks to my bestie Hannah for popping along and thanks to the Kaleidoscope team for inviting me. What was your favourite piece?

Ladies and gentlemen, it is press day season and I am happy as an energizer bunny! Quite recently, I was invited to the Phase Eight press day, and boy was I excited. Now I was familiar with the brand, and I eager to see what Phase Eight had in store for AW14.
The AW14 press day was held at their flagship store in Central London. As soon as I entered I felt like I was transported back to the 1920s. The overall collection had an art deco feel, with the beading, embellishment and luxe fabric.
If you have been a follower of my blog for a while, you'll know that I love statement jewellery. So I was very excited to see the accessories, Phase Eight had in store. If you follow me on instagram, you would of seen my favourite pick of the whole collection. I really loved the gold beaded necklace and I was chuffed that my selection got shown on the Phase Eight blog.
All in a ll I had a great time at the press day and I can't wait to see the collection in stores.
What do you think of the collection?
