How good was the BAFTAS? I rarely watch award type shows but I was definitely not missing this show! Especially as Tinie Tempah (swoon) and Laura Mvula  were opening up the show.
When I do watch award shows, I am eager to see the fashion, and can I just say that the fashion was on point! From Lupita N'yongo to Helen Mirren, the stars didn't disappoint.

I always covet the stylish garbs that the celebs wear, however with my limited funds I find it really hard to recreate these looks. But, I like to think of myself as a savvy shopper and I am always on the lookout for ways to be stylish on a budget.

So the guys over at SAVOO (who are a discount voucher code company), have come to my aid and provided a "look for less" of Angelina outfit. If you didn't watch the BAFTAS, Angelina and Brad wowed with their matching Saint Laurent tuxes.Even with the high-street prices, Angelina's look, at full price is still a whopping £229.94.Using the discounts from Savoo, you could make a saving by 18% ! How sick is that? I am all about saving money, especially as I started the 52 week saving challenge!

Happy Valentine's day guys!! Whether your spending the day out with your valentine or having a girls night out, Valentine's day is the perfect excuse to dress up. Now, if your like me and tend to leave your outfits to the last minuet, then I hope my post will help you with your outfit dilemmas!

The lovely guys over at George at ASDA sent me this lovely dress, which is perfect for Valentine's day. It is not only affordable (£10), but it is versatile and can be worn in so many different ways! I think bodycon dresses like this keep the right balance between sexy but not being over the top, so it is a great choice for a first date. I decided to keep the look classic with bare legs,a gold statement necklace and black patent pumps. However, the look would be great with black tights too, especially in this weather!

What do you think of the look? What are you doing for Valentine's day!

BTW! As of yesterday it is 3 years since I started my blog!! Go me!!

It is officially 1 day until London Fashion week and I am excited as an energizer bunny. As I dream of the lovely garments that will be sashaying on the runway, I'd like to bring you guys back to when I was invited to the Superdry AW14 showcase, for  London Collections:men. London Collections: Men features British fashion talent ranging from rising stars to heritage brands, and as the name suggests, it specifically focuses on male fashion.

The Superdry showcase was held at the Old Sorting Office in central London. The evening started with a pre-show cocktail reception which included yummy cocktails, delectable nibbles and sick beats from the dj! I took on the evening's festivities with my new blogging buddy Emma, from Acid Brights.

As we munched on the yummy food and sipped away at our cocktails, we were quickly ushered to the runway. Me and Emma, were pretty chuffed as we managed to secure a front row standing position, it was almost as if we were apart of the coveted "frow" squad.Which included Samuel L Jackson, Proudlock from Made in Chelsea and also Nick Grimshaw!!

The lights soon dimmed, the music started pumping and the Superdry models flooded  the catwalk in key AW14 looks. These looks ranged from leather and print to military classics with bold twists. There was also the signature tailoring and attention to detail for which Superdry has become globally renowned.

After the catwalk, the showcase became a massive rave!  Grimmy was playing some bangers, and as it is customary for me to do with every "club event" I go to, I battled many people including models. I event got props on my dance skills ;)

All in all it was a great night, and one of the best events I have been to, dare I say it has even rivalled some of the London fashion week events I have been to. Thanks Superdry, I had a sick night, here is to round 2 soon :)

FBL is 2| £30 NEW LOOK VOUCHER GIVEAWAY (UK ONLY GIVEAWAY)

 photo 2YEAR_zpsb0879dee.png

I actually can't believe it has been 2 years since FBL started! Tbh, the dream was to bring back the community feel back to blogging and allow newbie bloggers or bloggers who didn't know other bloggers a safe haven to express all things blogging!

I have learnt alot from the group especially from our weekly twitter chat #fblchat( happens every tuesday from 8-9pm gmt on @fashbeautylife). The group wouldn't be what it is today without my fellow admins Mary,Natalie,Sarah,Sammy,Jessica,Missy and Jennie, you've been a big help girls!

Although FBL has been fun, it has had it's struggles, since this is not our full time job, we take time out of our day to help the blogging community and this can be hard especially when we have conflicting commitments. Additionally, there are always twitter and blogger groups using the FBL name which confuses alot of people, which is annoying as we have worked hard to make the group as big as it is.

That being said, nothing warms my heart more when you guys respond positively to the group so it makes it all worth it. That is why I wanted to give back and give a £30 New Look voucher to one of you lovely lot. I am hosting the giveaway on my blog for now, as we are setting up the FBL website.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

THIS IS ONLY FOR UK RESIDENTS ONLY AND WILL END ON THE 16TH FEBRUARY AT 12AM, WITH THE WINNER ANNOUNCED ON THE MONDAY.
