Hey guys, I am so excited to tell you about the amazing even I went to about a week and half ago. The guys over at Matalan, invited me to an exclusive screening of Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris at the Bulgari Hotel in Knights bridge, for the Matalan Movie Club event. Now when I got the email about the event, it took me 0.025 seconds (accurate, right? ) to respond in a very loud hell yeah.
When I got to the foyer of the event, I was bombarded with yummy canapés and drinks! Which came at the perfect time as I was starving. After I had finished stuffing my face, I was happy to see the new Autumn/Winter collection Matalan were showcasing, called The Statements. The Statements range focuses on creating chic stapels for your wardrobe, which are timeless. I was very attracted to a fur coat, in the collection and I just might be purchasing it soon.
As well as the yummy food, drinks and beautiful clothing! I got to catch up with all of the lovely fashion bloggers such as Laura, Remi,Amy,Andrea,Laura and Sarah, we all had a good giggle at the event.
The Midnight in Paris film was actually quite good. I'm not usually into romantic comedy's, but this was a very interesting film. It is basically stars Owen Wilson who plays Gil, a writer that is on a trip in Paris with his fiancée and her family. Every night at midnight he goes back to 1920s Paris and meets truly inspiring characters, who lead him to a journey of self discovery.
All in all it was a sick event, and one of the best I have been to so far! Thanks Matalan :)

So for those of you who follow me on instagram, you'll know that during fashion week, I was hanging out with other sick bloggers at the Handpicked Media suite at the One Aldwych Hotel. Just like last year, there was an abundance of amazing brands there such as Anna Lou of London. Anna Lou of London is a jewellery and accessories brand, and at the suite we could choose a piece of jewellery to customize at the "let's get personal boutique". Now, when I heard I could do this, I was really chuffed. Not only was a getting a bespoke piece, but it was coming from the new luxe costume collection.
So as you can see above, I decided to go with the 18K rose gold, tag necklace where I had my name on one side and the initials of my blog on the other!I am really impressed by the final product and have been wearing it non-stop! What do think? will you be checking out this brand?

HAIR AND MAKE UP STUDIO|THE 360 STUDIO|THE ASOS CATWALK
HERE IS MY FIRST YOUTUBE VIDEO AND SHOWS ME ON THE ASOS CATWALK CLICK TO WATCH! DON'T FORGET TO LIKE,COMMENT,SHARE AND SUBSCRIBE.
So first of all long time no see, how you guys been? I decided to take a bit of a blog break as I have been overwhelmed by it all. Not to mention, I have been busy with the whole job search, interview, rejection, interview, cycle. Why is finding a job after uni so hard! But more on that later.
On the 20th August 2013, I was invited to the ASOS offices to view the showroom. You can imagine my excitement, as I walked through those doors in the swanky London offices. The office was so cool and I instantly felt at ease. I was greeted by Jenny the Senior press officer at ASOS, who gave me a tour of the offices. We first started off at the hair and make up studio, where I was greeted by the beauty team. Each week the beauty team create beauty mood boards so that they are kept up to date with the latest trends. Additionally, the mood boards act as inspiration for creating the make up looks on the models at ASOS. From the mood boards, it was clear that some of the make up trends this season would be texture, grunge, statement lip in a berry tone and alot of nail art.
Next, we moved onto the 360 studio! This where the ASOS guys film the products. You know when you click on a product and use the 360 degree rotation to see it in more detail, well this is filmed using a series of different clips, which are put together to make a video. I was surprised how quick it was, and if you follow me on instagram, you can see a clip of it here.
The final bit of the tour was the Catwalk where I witnessed the models strut their stuff!I was lucky enough to get a chance to walk the runway and finally release my inner Naomi Campbell as I walked down the catwalk. I tried to remember all the basics America Next Top Model had taught me, and I think I did a good job don't you think?
After the tour I was treated to a lovely lunch by Jenny and got a wonderful beauty goody bag which I will be doing a beauty look with soon, so stay tuned. All in all it was an amazing day and I am so glad the ASOS guys invited me down!
